The City of Dearborn Department of Parks and Recreation and the Dearborn Goodfellows welcome families and community members to participate in a rubber duck race fundraiser at Dunworth Pool, 801 N. Denwood St, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Duck Day event is free to attend and will feature multiple family-friendly activities in addition to the race.
Participants are invited to race rubber ducks down the slides at Dunworth Pool for a chance to win prizes. Rubber ducks can be purchased for $1 each, with the option to purchase up to 15 ducks per person. Registration is not required, and the event is free of charge.

Proceeds from a 50/50 raffle at Duck Day will benefit the Dearborn Goodfellows, which helps children in need year-round. The group is known for its “No Child Without a Christmas” initiative during the holiday season. The Goodfellows also provide year-round assistance for children, including school supplies, scholarships, unforeseen emergencies, and other causes.
Duck Day will feature many family-friendly, duck-related activities and games during and after the race. Dunworth Pool will be open to all participants following the event.
