Last updated Jan 24, 2026

Vehicles must be removed from City streets on Saturday, Jan 24, 2026. If a Snow Emergency is declared, outdoor city sirens will sound approximately one hour before plowing begins, and ticket enforcement will follow.

Snow Removal Schedule and Important Notes:

  • Plowing Timeline: The exact timing for snow removal may change due to changing weather. City crews currently expect to begin plowing sometime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, depending on the conditions of the road and snowfall.
  • Salt Effectiveness: Drivers should be aware that road salt is much less effective when temperatures drop below 20°F. Roads may remain slick even after they have been salted.
  • Driving Caution: Residents should use extreme caution when driving, reduce speeds, and increase following distance. Please try to avoid on-street parking altogether on Sunday morning.

Snow Emergency Declaration:

If a Snow Emergency is declared, outdoor City sirens will sound approximately one hour before plowing starts, and ticket enforcement will then begin.
