The Dearborn City Beautiful Commission has announced the top 51 honorees for the 2025 Residential Standard of Excellence Awards (RSOE) program, in addition to honorable mention recognition of 423 additional homes. Continuing a decades-long tradition, the City Beautiful Commission has promoted outstanding seasonal property maintenance and beautification through the annual RSOE Awards.
City Beautiful Commissioners selected three top award recipients in each of Dearborn’s 17 residential districts. Honorees, with the names of homeowners granting permission, are as follows:
Top honorees receive a lawn sign, a window decal, and an invitation to a ceremony hosted by Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud and the commission to take place in early 2026. Homes selected for an honorable mention will receive a window decal and a congratulatory letter.
The commission also promotes beautification in Dearborn through the Business Standard of Excellence Awards and encourages community spirit through the Spring, Fall, and Winter Aglow outdoor residential decoration awards.
In addition, the commission promotes environmental stewardship through the Sustainable Landscaping recognition program and annual events with Dearborn schools, including Cleanup Parades, tree plantings, and anti-littering campaigns.
