ALERT - DPW Cleaning Up Storm Damage

The Department of Public Works (DPW) will be out today, Saturday, July 12, 2025, and tomorrow, Sunday, July 13, 2025, to clean up damage caused by Saturday's storms. DPW will prioritize the removal of trees blocking roadways, as well as those that have fallen on vehicles and homes.

ALERT: Increased enforcement from June 29 to July 5 for proper, legal use of fireworks

Dearborn Police will exercise a zero-tolerance policy for the illegal use of fireworks this week and over the July Fourth holiday. Fireworks can be used from June 29 to July 5 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. if discharged on your private property. Per State law, firework debris must also land on your private property.

ALERT: City Building Closures for the Juneteenth Holiday

The Dearborn Administrative Center and several City buildings will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Trash collection schedule will not be impacted.

DPW offers Tire Drop Off day Saturday, June 14

Residents can drop off up to four old tires per car on Saturday, June 14, at the DPW Yard, 2951 Greenfield Rd. Proof of residency is required.
