Honorees will receive a window decal and will be invited to an annual awards ceremony in early 2026 hosted by Mayor Abdullah Hammoud.
“The City Beautiful Commission appreciates all residents who add to the welcoming spirit of our community by installing clever Halloween displays to their lawns, or by adding appealing seasonal decorations and plants,” said Commission Chair Rene Ziaja.
The commission promotes seasonal and holiday displays through the spring, fall, and winter Dearborn Aglow programs, and outstanding property maintenance through the summer Residential Standard of Excellence and Business Standard of Excellence awards. It also encourages environmental stewardship through the Sustainable Gardens awards and through programs with the Dearborn Public Schools.
Mayor Hammoud appoints all members of the City Beautiful Commission.
